In 2007, F.G. Rayburn Mason Contractors created the first state-approved bricklayer apprenticeship program in Western New York aimed at independent tradesmen. This means you can learn the skilled trade of bricklaying and masonry without having to pay union dues to do so.
The apprenticeship program takes 27-36 months (540 hours) and involves both classroom and worksite training. Apprentices are closely monitored by us and by a NYSDOL Apprenticeship Training representative for the entirety of the apprenticeship. For more details on the training outline, click here.
